Conservatives Open Applications for May 2026 Local Elections

Heywood, Middleton North & Rochdale Conservatives have today opened applications for individuals wishing to stand as Conservative candidates in the May 2026 local elections.

Local residents who are passionate about their community and committed to Conservative values are encouraged to apply to join the party’s Approved List of Candidates.

The application process is now live, and completed forms must be submitted by Sunday 4th May 2025.

Cllr Stephen Anstee, Leader of Rochdale Borough Conservatives, said:

“We are looking for dedicated and community-minded individuals to step forward and represent our party in the 2026 local elections. This is a chance to make a real difference in your area and stand up for the principles that matter to local people.”

Interested individuals can access the application form via the association’s website or by contacting the team directly.
